Home for me is in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, although I spend a lot of time on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho.  I host gatherings and classes in my home and other cozy, local venues. I also make unique paper goods, such as greeting cards and blank books, which I sell at markets and in my Etsy shop.

I have been keeping a journal for over 40 years! This practice has changed for me, as I have grown and moved through the different stages of my life. I know that journaling has kept me sane, whole and focused through the good and not-so-good moments. This experience has provided me with a mental library full of ideas and resources that I am pleased to share with you.

I am passionate about the power of journaling (both written and visual) because I believe it is an essential component of self-care, spiritual peace, and personal growth. Every person can benefit from keeping a journal, creating that bridge between her inner and outer worlds, to enhance the experience of fully inhabiting this very precious life.

I am here to guide you through the process of making this practice fit into your routine and will be with you to discover your own journaling style.

I teach classes on the whys and hows of journaling:  vision boards, intention setting, collage, word choice, painting techniques for background paper, travel journals, embracing the seasons of the year, journaling through grief.   Students walk away from my classes feeling inspired, creative, and beloved.  The communities I’ve gathered continue to grow larger and play nurturing roles in the lives of women, near and far.

Please join me in exploring self-expression and personal growth through the art of journaling.
